Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Jan 13
Medium red. Very reduced nose hints at redcurrant, spices and sexy smoky oak. Lush and silky on the palate, with a compelling sweetness to the rich red fruit and soil flavors. Not yet showing much complexity, with the oak element dominating today, but communicates a sense of power that suggests this wine will benefit from further elevage and time in bottle.
